Excellent- thanks your title ‘draftaripara’ should read ‘daftaripara’ with no r following the d. The word ‘daftar’ in Arabic means booklet, notebook, copybook, journal, register etc. In Urdu it also is used for an office or a department. I am sure it came to Bengali and Urdu from Arabic, I do not know what the suffix -para means- it could be a place where books are made.
